Setting Up the Aspire Tigon

The Aspire Tigon comes with two coils and two mouthpieces. You’ll notice that one of the mouthpieces is much taller and narrower than the other. Use the narrow mouthpiece if you prefer to inhale the vapor from your mouth to your lungs. Use the wide mouthpiece if you prefer to inhale directly into your lungs.

The Aspire Tigon tank comes with the 0.4-ohm coil pre-installed. Use that coil if you prefer direct-to-lung inhaling. If you prefer mouth-to-lung inhaling, you should install the 1.2-ohm coil. We’ll explain how to do that in a moment.

Twisting the bottom metal hardware of the Aspire Tigon tank allows you to alter the tank’s airflow. The five small holes are intended for mouth-to-lung inhaling. Reduce the number of visible holes if you prefer tighter airflow characteristics. If you’re using the Tigon for direct-to-lung inhaling, adjust the airflow control to expose the single large hole.

Filling the Tank

One of the greatest features of the Aspire Tigon tank is that it has a child-resistant cap. To fill the tank, lift the cap slightly before pushing it sideways to expose the filling hole. Slide the cap back and push it down when you’re done filling the tank. If this is your first time filling the tank after installing a new coil, wait five minutes for the coil’s cotton wick to become completely wet with e-liquid.

Changing the Coil

When you start to notice reduced vapor production from the Aspire Tigon tank, it’s time to replace the coil. Many people notice a burned taste when the coil has reached the end of its usable life. One of the greatest features of the Aspire Tigon tank is that the chamber for the coil has a spring-loaded chamber that automatically closes when you remove the coil. Thanks to that feature, you can replace the coil when the tank is full.

To replace your Aspire Tigon coil, remove the Tigon tank from your mod and unscrew the bottom metal hardware. Pull the coil straight down to remove it from the tank. Push in a new coil and replace the tank’s bottom hardware. Don’t forget to wait for the cotton to become saturated before you begin vaping. You can speed the process up a bit by placing a drop of e-liquid on each exposed section of cotton before installing the coil.

Note: Sweetened e-liquids decrease coil life. To get the best possible life from your Aspire Tigon coils, try to use unsweetened e-liquids as often as possible.
