What Is the Aspire Nepho Tank?
The Aspire Nepho is the newest and most modern tank in Aspire’s already remarkable stable of vaping hardware. It’s Aspire’s first tank designed from the ground up to use mesh coils, and it has some of the largest wick openings of any tank that Aspire has yet released. In other words, it’s a serious vapor cloud machine. The Aspire Nepho also features a helpful child lock and a new push-in coil installation system. We’ll discuss those features shortly.
Using the Aspire Dynamo
Using the Aspire Dynamo is at once familiar and new. As you use the device, you’ll recognize certain design elements that are uniquely Aspire; they’ll be familiar from past Aspire devices that you’ve owned. With other aspects of the Dynamo, Aspire has really gone back to the drawing board and attempted to totally modernize the user experience. The new Aspire Dynamo interface, for example, goes a long way to correct the somewhat clunky interface of the company’s previous-generation flagship, the SkyStar.
Installing and Charging the Batteries
The Aspire Dynamo is compatible with 21700, 20700 and 18650 batteries. No batteries are included with the kit, though, so you’ll need to buy a pair of cells if you don’t have them already. If you only own 18650 batteries, you can use them, but we recommend buying a pair of 21700 batteries if you want to experience the truly impressive battery life that this device can give you.
To install the batteries, push the battery door and allow it to flip open. If you’re using 18650 batteries, place the batteries inside the included sleeve before inserting them in the mod. Ensure that the batteries’ terminals match up with the markings on the inside of the battery door. Push and slide the battery door to close it. Using the included USB charging cable, connect the Aspire Dynamo to one of your computer’s USB ports.
While the Aspire Dynamo charges, you’ll see the charging status on the device’s screen. The screen shows the current charging current in amps. It also shows the amount of time the device has been charging and how close the batteries are to being full. When the charge cycle is complete, the Aspire Dynamo’s screen turns off.
Filling the Aspire Nepho Tank
The Aspire Nepho tank has a child-resistant top cap that helps to prevent a child from opening the tank if you accidentally leave the device unattended. To open the tank, lift the top hardware up and slide it in the direction of the arrow. Add e-liquid through the filling port. Slide the top cap back to its original position and push it down. After filling the tank for the first time, wait several minutes before vaping to ensure that the coil’s cotton wick is completely saturated with e-liquid.
Vaping With the Aspire Dynamo
After you insert the batteries, the screen of the Aspire Dynamo should come to life. If it doesn’t, press the fire button five times quickly to unlock the device. The mod should start up in wattage mode. You’ll see the current wattage displayed in the center of the screen.
- Press the “+” and “-“ buttons below the screen to adjust the wattage.
- Press the “+” and “-“ buttons simultaneously to toggle between the Aspire Dynamo’s Soft, Normal and Hard vaping modes. In Hard mode, the Dynamo gives your coil a little wattage boost when you initially press the fire button to get the coil up to temperature quickly.
- Press and hold the fire button to vape.
- Press the fire button and “+” button simultaneously to enter the menu system and explore the Aspire Dynamo’s other functions.
Replacing the Aspire Nepho Coil
When you start to notice a burned flavor or subpar vapor production, it’s time to replace the coil in your Aspire Nepho tank. Remove the tank from the mod and unscrew the bottom metal hardware. You’ll see the coil’s bottom contact point. Pull the old coil out of the tank and push in the new coil. Reassemble and refill the tank. As with all new coils, wait several minutes for the cotton to saturate before you use the coil.
My Aspire Dynamo Screen Isn’t Working!
The Aspire Dynamo has a built-in stealth mode in case you’d like to vape discreetly or simply don’t want the bright screen to distract you. If the screen of your Aspire Dynamo is off, the device is probably in stealth mode. Press the fire button three times quickly to turn the screen back on.
